I stand for and believe in making a difference in and around our community. As a Healthcare Professional, Instructor, Doula and Mother, my goal is to provide physical support, emotional support and education to all clients. All interactions are conducted in a fun and informative manner. As a result, you will get a more enjoyable and lasting experience while avoiding the traditional classroom environment.
I am a BEST certified Birth Doula, an AHA Certified CPR/First Aid instructor and a Licensed Vocational Nurse. As your instructor/Doula, I have 15 plus years of trained medical experience to aid in the instruction process. Therefore, I am able to offer quality support and educational training.
Our classes/sessions conform to current guidelines and regulations as well as evidence-based practices. Our goal is that you will leave with the skills necessary and the confidence to effectively administer CPR or first aid to anyone or journey through the twists and turns of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
Pregnancy is a time of joy and excitement, but it can also be a time of anxiety. Having a person who is knowledgeable and trustworthy can take that burden off you and your support system. I provide non-judgmental, unbiased, care, support, and education during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My mission is to ensure my clients have a safe and informed birthing experience, so they feel empowered and confident during this time.

Creating a birth/pp plan can be tedious and overwhelming for some. If you are looking for some extra support, but don’t want to go all-in on birth doula services, this may be the perfect option for you. It includes:
• A pre-assessment to figure out where you are in your birth planning journey
• A 1-2 hour session with me to go over your plans, get insight, and assistance creating your plan.
• A 30-minute follow-up virtual session with me to discuss any lingering thoughts or edits you have made

Learn how to recognize and know what to do in the event of a medical emergency situation. Adult and pediatric 1 and 2 person rescuer CPR, including pocket mask. Upon completion of this course students will received a certification card (via e-card delivery) that is valid for 2 years.
After completing the online portion at shopcpr.heat.org/heartcode-bls (which is a separate fee from you skills session) student schedule a structured session that focuses on meaningful skills practice, discussions about local protocols, and skills testing. All students MUST have completed the HEARTSAVERS/HEARTCODE ONLINE and MUST bring a copy of your completion certificate at the time of skills session.
This course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example OSHA) or other requirements. This course can be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This course, students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.

All students MUST have completed the HEATSAVERS/HEARTCODE ONLINE and MUST bring a copy of your completion certificate at the time of skills session.
This course is designed for those who at risk for on-the-job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious materials.
This course is designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Upon successful completion, students will be able to display various skills such as finding the problem, bleeding control, proper use of PPE, using an epinephrine pen, as well as several other skills. Students receive a First Aid completion card valid for 2 years upon completion.
This course teaches lifesaving skills of adult and child hands only CPR, CPR with breaths, adults and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and sever airway block for adults, children and infants.

***Please note that a travel fee of $20 will be assessed for locations beyond a 20-mile radius of zip code 76010.
Having surgery soon? Home care is not just for the "Senior Community" and unfortunate not all have family or close friends who can be there during their time of healing. We offer pre/post op care services. This is the care that is provided right before and after a surgical procedure.

Woods Work of Heart will provide a full refund to all participants if the course is cancelled by us. NO REFUNDS, partial refunds, reschedules, credits or cancellations will be allowed within 48 hours prior to a class or the day of class for "NO SHOWS". All courses must be PAID IN FULL 48 hours prior to the start time unless otherwise authorized by Woods Work of Heart.
